Rafael also works with emerging companies, founders, and venture investors. He has represented technology startups on multiple funding rounds with investors from the Philippines, Southeast Asia, and China. He has drafted a legal primer for startups in the Philippines, which was published and distributed by incubators, accelerators, and co-working spaces, where he has also given lectures.
Rafael completed courses on Bitcoin and Cryptocurrencies and Blockchain Technology with the University of California, Berkeley.
AMANDA SANTOS-MEER

Amanda has been named by AsiaLaw as one of the Leading Lawyers in the Philippines (Corporate Law/ Mergers and Acquisitions) for consecutive years since 2011. Prior to joining the firm, Amanda interned in the Office of Legal Affairs department of the United Nations Headquarters in New York where she worked on the U.N. Repertory of Practice on amendments and interpretations to the U.N. Charter, specifically on the non-use of force. She also volunteered for various alternative law groups dealing with women’s rights and environmental law.
